Against all expectations, the Japanese Grand Prix took place in bone-dry conditions, but there was no shortage of entertainment, incident and controversy all the same – and title protagonists Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa were in the thick of it.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, front wheel drive vehicles, at first Datsuns and later mostly Hondas, gained popularity in Southern California. Young Asian American street racers played a particularly important role in the development of the early street racing scene. Many enthusiasts in southern California also began to modify their compact Japanese cars, following similar trends that originated in Japan.

If you didn't know, a pitbabe is one of those beautiful girls hanging around on racetracks and carshows with tight suits with lots of sponsor logos on them. You will find no nudity here since this is not that kind of website. Check out the babes now.

Chances are most of us have locked our keys in the car at one time or another and if we haven’t well, there’s a good chance we will – at least once in our lifetime. Nobody does it on purpose, it’s just one of those things that happen; and while it can be frustrating, embarrassing or downright maddening, there are some things that we can do to remedy the situation.

Well he says that he wasn’t pushing and you have to believe him, because he was unchallenged at the front of the field and didn't need to take any risks. Kovalainen had a heavier car than Hamilton in qualifying and on fuel-corrected times the Finn was right there. He also set the fastest race lap by a fraction, although Lewis probably had a bit more speed in reserve had he needed it.

As auto racing is a dangerous sport, many individuals (including drivers, crew members, officials and spectators) have been killed in crashes related to the sport, either in a race, in qualifying, in practice or a private testing session.

The French Grand Prix saw Ferrari survive the rain and Kimi Raikkonen's dramatic exhaust failure to score another 1-2, while McLaren found itself at the centre of controversy yet again. Another eventful race with plenty of controversy, and amazingly we have now had four different drivers leading the world championship in the last four races. That’s really unusual.

The inaugural Valencia race was a bit of a damp squib in terms of wheel-to-wheel action, but the near-miss in the pits between Felipe Massa and Adrian Sutil kept the stewards busy and briefly threw the race result into doubt. This race was not a thriller; in fact it was quite dull at times and the Spanish crowd were sorely disappointed by the early bath for Fernando Alonso.

Formula 1 is the highest class of open wheeled auto racing. Europe is Formula One’s traditional centre and remains its leading market. However, Grands Prix are held all over the world. Ans these are the girls who add glitter to the races!

What the Hungarian Grand Prix lacked in terms of overtaking, it made up for in drama, sudden twists of Fate and – from the likes of Felipe Massa and Timo Glock – sparkling performances. That was a fantastic race, but not for the reasons anyone expected! There was real tension right from the start, with Felipe Massa taking the lead from Lewis Hamilton; there was the amazing performance of Timo Glock; the doggedness of Fernando Alonso and Nelson Piquet; the late surge of Kimi Raikkonen; Heikki Kovalainen’s maiden win; and of course the setbacks to the two main contenders, Hamilton and Massa.

Ferrari delivered the kind of commanding performance at Sepang that many were expecting it to show in Melbourne last weekend, with Kimi Raikkonen proving especially strong. This was a very important race for Kimi Raikkonen. It put him right in the championship hunt and showed that Ferrari do have spectacular performance when they are able to unlock it.

This is how my day began, shooting race cars and pretty girls at Mosport. It was bright, sunny and hot as hell this morning and the on track action was pretty hot too. Also hot were some of the hired help around the circuit.

You can watch Smash My Viper girl Kat drill a whole in the hood of the Viper while wearing an impossibly short pleated mini-skirt and tight cami. You can watch Alley, along with Kat, spread peanut butter and feathers all over the Viper while baring miles of cleavage.

Well, in this post I'm gonna post photos of the hot race queens. Some of them look slightly more mature because they have been in this industry for a long long time. There are so many nice ones! Enjoy!

Race queen is a Japanese term for a type of promotional model found as part of a pit crew in certain kinds of motor racing. Their job is very demanding and dangerous. Japanese Race Queens are often required to wear very small amounts of tight fitting clothing to reduce the risk of it getting caught during rapid pit-stop wheel changes.

Even more entertainment is provided by the Racing Girls. They are hired models paid to stand around and advertise, with large logos on small clothes. You got to love it!

In Monaco the grid girls as as beautiful as ever, but with all the stars and glamour elsewhere, they are sometimes overshadowed by other stars. Grid girls hold flags on the grid at all the races, without exception.

A question I could not answer and has always intrigued me. It's the pit babes. Why do every driver carries around two girls that pose behind him for the camera using caps with the sponsors logo, one on each shoulder, on every TV interview? "Las chicas de coro" or "Promotoras" (the "chorus girls" or "promoters").

One of the best things about race day are all the ladies who come out and give the guys some support. Known as the paddock girls, grid girls and by many other names, they wear the colours of the manufacturers and sponsors as no one else can.

"Race queen" is a Japanese term for a type of promotional model found as part of a pit crew in certain kinds of motor racing, such as F1 races. The equivalent British term is "Pit babe". The first usage of promotional models in motor races was during the late 1960s when model Rosa Ogawa was brought in to represent the race winners. It was then that the term race queen was coined. Prior to that, women in motor races were mostly wives and girlfriends of drivers and staff, with the exception of some who were drivers.

Grid Girls, Pit Babes, Paddock Chicks, Race Queens, Track Girls, brolly Dollies - call them what you will
They bring a sense of glamour to Formula One, harmless fun and all part of racing's glamorous image.
Much is based around advertising and promotion of course and the promo babes do a great job.
